John o Jerusalem woodland

A wet woodland close to the River Bollin near the A56/M56 road junction.  The site also contains a motte and bailey castle There are three main landowners.  1 Ha to the north west, 1 Ha to the south west and 5 Ha to the east which includes a pond.  Trafford Wildlife have been removing invasive balsam and rhododendron from the east section.
