Seamons Moss Covert

A medium sized new wood situated between the Trans Pennine Trail and the Bridgewater Canal and used as a cut though by frequent walkers bypassing the adjacent footpath on the east side  The wood includes a number of species including non-native red oak.  A drain runs across the south end into a culvert under the canal.
